Kodak Paper & Cartridge - Although the pictures are of good quality I have had a couple of instances over the years when the cartridge has jammed in the printer dock. The only way to get it out is to break the film. You are then left with sheets of paper spare as you can only buy these with the film cartridge. I now have 31 spare sheets of paper and no cartridge. What a waste. But what a way to make money!!
Great Product - I have had this printer dock for a while now and im very pleased with it. Although the prints would be expensive for large quantities like holiday, xmas etc., it is a brilliant item for just a few special prints, or making smaller pics for identity cards etc. Can print more than one picture on each sheet in a selection of sizes. AND ive just got a new phone and can link that to the printer dock and print pictures from that, so if im out without my camera I still have the facility to take pictures and print them myself. The camera is also exceptionally easy to link to the computer so making both camera and printer dock very versatile.
Think about it for a minute... - You have just shot a roll of 40 APS/35mm photos on holiday. You take it to Boots/Spielman/Jessops, pay your £5 and take your prints home. Out of the 40 prints, probably 10 are technically flawed (poor light, blur, insufficient flash, redeye etc.) and of the other 30 you probably have a few duplicates and other photos which you wonder why you took them in the first place. So.. how many of the original 40 would you choose to put in your album? 10... 15... divide your £5 by this number and you get between 33 and 50 pence per print, with at least 24 hours wait (1 Hr service would be more expensive still).Buy the print dock and you should never have to see a poor quality print again.
Someone please cap the price! - The one thing that lets this product down is the ever-increasing price, and my forever-dormant printer dock. Thank goodness for Amazon s low prices, but I think Kodak are cynically squeezing every last drop out of the pockets of people who have bought their hardware. It s only paper and ink after all.
Waste of Christmas money! - I have just bought a Kodak Easyshare C330 for my parents for Christmas as I thought this was the perfect way for them to use a digital camera and print without having to use the computor ( which they find a complete nightmare!) However when I went to buy some more paper for them I have discovered the true cost of printing - HOW MUCH? I think this price is really unfair as ewverywhere else manages to print for less than half of the 40p per picture.
